We had a terrific kayaking trip down the lower Toccoa River in Blue Ridge the last weekend in July with 13 scouts and family members. If you missed the trip, we sure hope to see you along next time. We saw herons, kingfishers, fished and relaxed along the river. Thanks a ton to Joe Cotnoir, our Wolf Den Leader, for organizing our two summer float trips…what a blast!
Toccoa River Tubing was awesome!
The last weekend in June, Five families went hiking the trails and tubing down the Toccoa River in Aska, GA, just outside of Blue Ridge.
We will be having our first Family Camping event the weekend of September 23rd – September 25th at the back field of Birmingham UMC (our host Church)! This is always a great time for the family. Camping will start Friday evening and last through Sunday mid-morning. All members of the family are welcome and encouraged to attend.
