Pack 3000 is powered by dedicated volunteers who work together to provide a safe, fun, and engaging Cub Scout program. Our leaders partner with families to create opportunities for adventure, learning, service, and personal growth while helping youth develop character, leadership skills, citizenship, and personal fitness through the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law..

All registered leaders complete required Scouting America training and Youth Protection requirements.

Leadership Structure

Pack 3000 is led by trained volunteers including den leaders, committee members, and program leaders who work together to deliver a high-quality Scouting experience.

Safety & Training

All leaders complete Youth Protection Training, background checks, and position-specific training through Scouting America to ensure a safe environment for every Scout.

Volunteer Opportunities

Every family has a role to play. From helping at events to leading a den, there are many flexible ways to support Pack 3000.

Pack 3000 operates through a team of trained volunteers who work together to deliver a quality Cub Scout program.

How Our Pack Is Organized

Cubmaster

Provides overall program leadership for the Pack and leads Pack meetings, activities, and events.

Committee Chair

Coordinates the Pack Committee and oversees the administrative functions that support the Pack’s success.

Chartered Organization Representative

Serves as the liaison between Pack 3000 and Birmingham United Methodist Church, our chartered organization.

Assistant Cubmasters

Support Pack meetings, special events, outdoor activities, and advancement programs.

Den Leaders

Lead age-appropriate den meetings and guide Scouts through adventures, advancement, and skill development.

Pack Committee

Supports finance, advancement, communications, membership, event planning, and program administration.
