Join Cub Scout Pack 3000

What is Cub Scouts?

Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys and girls who are in the kindergarten through fifth grade. Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting.

Cub Scouting is the largest of the four membership divisions of the Boy Scouts of America (Scouts BSA, Sea Scouts, and Venturing).

The 10 purposes of Cub Scouting are:

Character Development
Spiritual Growth
Good Citizenship
Sportsmanship and Fitness
Family Understanding
Respectful Relationships
Personal Achievement
Friendly Service
Fun and Adventure
Preparation for Boy Scouts!

Yes! Cub Scouting is a family-centered program. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate alongside their Scout by attending meetings, helping with activities, supporting adventures, and sharing in the fun. Scouting is designed to create lasting memories and experiences for the whole family.

Scouts generally wear their Field Uniform for Pack meetings and formal events, while the Pack Activity Shirt is worn for most outings and activities. The Pack Activity Shirt is included with your annual Pack dues, and we’ll help new families understand what uniform items are needed when they join.
