2019 Pinewood Derby

Cub Scout Pack 3000 hosted their 2019 pinewood derby on January 26, 2019, at Birmingham United Methodist Church. The pinewood derby is a longstanding annual event in which Cub Scouts learn about sportsmanship and teamwork while building and racing wooden model cars with their family and friends. There were 65 entries in this year’s derby. They competed not only for the fastest times but also for design awards such as “most creative” and “best paint job”.
